A field-service app in development for Landslagnir ehf., coordinating jobs, employees and work in the field.
Project overview
I am currently developing VerkApp for Landslagnir ehf., an Icelandic plumbing company with around 30 employees. The app is intended to give managers one place to create location-based jobs, assign them directly or offer them to available employees.
Planned employee workflows include accepting jobs, viewing job details, navigating to the site, updating work status, adding photos and notes, and marking work complete. The management view is being designed to provide an overview of jobs, employees, availability and ongoing work.
The architecture uses Expo, React Native, TypeScript, Supabase and PostgreSQL and is being designed for reuse by other field-service businesses, including electrical, HVAC, carpentry and maintenance companies.
